Great food menu with weekly specials priced good. Great beer selection that is always changing and an enthusiastic brewer that makes time for talking with patrons. I don't smell like smoke when I leave! (there IS a smoking area though)

I don't drink beer, but all my friends do and they say their beer is the best. They have GREAT food too and unlike some brewery's, they also have a full bar. Club Keno too! :)

Every time I visit Fort Street Brewery I have an amazing time. The beer selection is incredible, to say the least, and the staff is super friendly.

Always fun, their mixture of the unusual with the classic home made beer and their line of great entrees make this a fun spot to enjoy with friends and family. Though there are darts and televisions it is the events like music nights or theme nights that make this a great place for special times or just a place to watch the game.

The waitstaff is the best to ask for, always helpfull and cheerfull. Its so hot that woman know this much about beer. styles, malts, hops, etc...truly an experience. If you dont know what you want, the staff is great to find you a beer to your liking or offer a yummy mixer to cleanse your pallate.

This place rocks, I can have good beer and a good meal at a good price. The beers are always changing, you cant get that anywhere else, definately unique and amazing.

Fort Street Brewery is the cleanest restaraunt I have ever been in. Everytime I go there the staff is always keeping busy, either with their customers, or keeping the place tidy..

Great food (and getting better each week), great price, the BEST BEERS! Brewmaster Doug comes up with a new beer (or 2) each week. My family loves to go there! Easy to find too! How can anyone go wrong?

The beer here is as solid as it comes. Fresher than anything I’ve had in a glass bottle. The food is excellent as well. The atmosphere is spacious. There is a pool table, darts, and a place you can select your favorite songs. There is also a nice TV for watching games. This can be a relaxing place to take a girl or a good place to hang out with the guys. Out of everything, the beer is the most outstanding of all.

Well let's see. I have learned just about as much as one can from the Brewmaster, Doug Beedy, when it comes to craft brewed beer. He is absolutely the finest and most creative brewmaster, who's beer I have had the pleasure of tasting. He will take the time to talk beer and help out with any beer knowledge issue you may have. Beer fantasy camp is just the most creative way to educate one on craft brewed beer and pairing it with food. He is a genius. It's like sitting in a five star resturant and having a wine sommelier pair a wine to the food you want to eat!!!!
No other place downriver is anywhere close to giving one such an experience. The atmosphire is just plain fun in that place. It can be laid back as well if you wish. But as far as food, fun, game time and staff, there is no better place to hang out. Plus they have a patio to boot. I could go on forever about the place.

There can't be enough said about the quality and perfection of Doug's beer. It stands alone on top of all others!!! Their food is exceptional and the prices can't be beat by anyone for the portions you get and the high quality of the product. Not like other regular downriver dive bar food. Their HOT wings are THE best too. (get the hottest, they'll make you have a real endorphin rush). The fun to be had should be experienced by all on Monday's during the holdem tourney's or any day or night, playing trivia on Buzztime or pool or just chillin on the patio or watching a game on their HUGE porjection screen or the DLP tv's. I can't say enough how I feel like Norm at Cheers, every time I walk in and get greeted by the staff with such open arms and hearts. I love them all!!!

Excellent tavern a bit off the beaten path. Food is simple, tasty and very affordable for a brew pub. The beer selection is ever changing and always excellent.

I can set up my afternoon office at this place. Great food, very reasonably priced. Great beer and high speed wireless. Even though smoking is allowed, the ventilation is so good that the wife never knows that I was camped out at the bar!!!!

My shouts go out to Doug, Pete, the waitresses, cooks and all of the Money night poker crew. I have been coming here since they opened and it's just like "Cheers", "Where everybody knows your name" . I've even been given the honor of tapping a keg. The Scotch Eggs are my favorite. I can't even begin to tell of all the wonder brews I have I sampled. All of them are great! It's the after work place to be.

A lot can be said about a place that has a well rounded menu, flavorful and varied beers, an attentive staff, diversions including pool, darts, and trivia, and a welcoming atmosphere. But to sum it up best, this pub is exceptional. The food is not just standard bar fare. The menu includeds items such as scotch eggs, pierogis, pasta of the week, and recent specials have included bouillabaisse, chicken-fried chicken, and poutine. As for the beer, there is always 6-10 on tap, ranging from traditional American lagers to porters and stouts. Typically, there are styles and flavors that you won't find anywhere else, like a wheat IPA or a Belgium brown. New beers are tapped weekly (Thursday @ 8) and these are usually small batches and have included varieties from lambics to Irish stouts (every St. Paddy's) to barley wines. If you enjoy a good bit to eat and a beer with a different twist, the Fort Street Brewery is a must visit destination.

This could be the best place to sit and have a craft brewed beer ever open for business. Friendly and fun. Doug Beedy, is most accomplished at his craft and should be commended. I have experienced some great times playin holdem with the regulars and have never felt welcome as quickly as I did when I first walked in. Everyone is there to make you feel like one of the pack. Come on and see what all the friendliness is all about!!!

This establishment sets a standard for Lincoln Park and has for over 3 years. The best beer in SE Michigan. The Best Staff, Owners, and Patrons anyone could ask for or even find in our current economic situation. FSB is the place to be if you want Great Beer, Great Food, and Great Conversations (if you just be friendly - you don't have to be anyone but yourself here) It's family friendly, yet respects everyone. I hope they continue the creativeness they show in Beer Styles, Menu Items, and Fun.
Tell them RockDog sent you, really... Look for your friends in the "Hall of Foam", maybe even talk to Doug about what it takes to get there! You wont be disappointed and if you are, let them know, it'll be fixed. Nothing in this world is perfect. So don't go looking for it, but appreciate all of the little things you find at the Fort Street Brewery that add up to a deserving vote of excellence. You might even have a chance to experience, as they say, the two greatest non-sexual words in the English language - "FREE BEER". Find me and mention this review and that just MIGHT happen.
This is a true GEM in the Dust of Downriver, and when it all settles, I expect the FSB to be THE example to follow. - See you at the pub! If you agree, vote them up. It's more than a "BAR" it is truly an open ,friendly community within the community.

There IS no better beer in Michigan. Doug is the mad scientist of brewing. No one can hold a candle to him. The place is fun, has great food and you always feel like part of the family when partaking of a few of his superb beers, playing holdem or trivia on Buzztime, watching a game on the MEGA screen or enjoying some of their extremely excellent food. The prices are low the service is great and the staff are good people!!!! Five Stars!!!

Without a doubt -real beer brewed by people who are interested in beer ---not a foo-foo scene --but rather a darn great beer scene----- and everyone is welcome contrary to a lot of other places where doormen guard the door and look for only people who look like they would fit in!
