This is a one of a kind store. You can find things there that you'll never find anywhere. The staff is attentive to your needs and jonny has more fashion sense than a man should be allowed to have.

Words just cannot describe Forbidden Planett well enough. Johnny, Susan and Carol are truly gems! I just couldn't thank them enough for creating the most gorgeous victorian style wedding dress for our special day. They are so intuitive, attentive and creative. They offer one-on-one service that you just don't receive at any store anymore. You must stop in or make an appointment and find out for yourself how wonderful and special they really are!

This is an amazing store where I have had the pleasure of both buying and selling totally unique and valuable vintage items -- from designer clothing to amazing jewelry. Absolutely not to be missed for the saavy fashionable female. Plus John and Susan are so much fun to work with - and really helpful in finding your best look. Go - you';ll love it.

Forbidden Planet is truly a gem of a store in Philadelphia...from the mere location -which is at basement level, in the heart of Old City, to the modest store sign to the rustic decor of the place. The atmosphere is cozy and yet full of life. Johnny is fantastic with his great knowledge of each and every piece of clothing and accessory and is entertaining and fun. I love knowing that what I buy has a "little story." As a new resident in Philadelphia, I have found my new favorite store! Forbidden Planet is a treasure store for serious shoppers.

Not only is Forbidden Planett the best Vintage and resale boutique in Philadelphia , they have one of a kind pieces from the thirties to the present. Most of the pieces are pricless with their finely made fabrics that will last for years to come. They just dont make clothes like that anymore. Enjoy!

This is hands down THE best vintage retail shop in the city! There's not a weekend that goes by that I dont drop in and thumb through the latest and greatest in fashion. The reps there are always eager to help and the prices are perrrrrfect! I'm ready for the weekend already! Who could ask for a better spot! Forbidden Planet DEFINITELY gets my vote for #1!!!!!!

Simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-!!! No other boutique can match their selection, knowledge & service. In addition, they also offer a personal shopping service AND they have an onsite dressmaker for quality alterations if needed !!! (She's a doll) Hands down the best !!!!!

This is an amazing botique with amazing Vintage. There is no other shop like this in Philly. I have purchesed the best vintage clothing, handbags and jewelry. University of Penn gets an automatic 25% off all purchases and thats why I shop there. I am a senior at Penn and shop at The Planett before any other Vintage store.
