They made my 2 yr. old the BEST two 747 buttercream/chocolate cupcakes for her birthday this past Saturday.....complete with REAL rosebuds!! lovely! .
For those who say they are rude, pipe down! Imagine working over 8 hrs a day in a former trainyard where thousands of people congregate at any one time and try to communicate gently in your "inside voice" to your customers......remember, it's reading terminal, not the library......they make the best and tastiest cupcakes ANYWHERE, and if those feel an aire of snobbery comes with it, then so be it.....buy some betty crocker and stay home! they have been fair and kind to me, so there!

I got a cake from here expecting something beautiful and classic like in their pictures. Instead I got a cake with sloppy frosting and sugar sprinkles all over it. I was already hesitant to pay forty dollars for a cake and although it was delicious, I will not be ordering from here again. I was really disappointed.

Well, first I have never had a bad service experience at Flying Monkey. I just had to say that! ANYWAY, this place is the best...I love the chocolate cupcakes with the coconut....and the new mint brownie!

I had the best scone I've ever tasted at the Flying Monkey Patisserie. And the cupcakes are superb! Yesterday's cannoli cupcake was exquisite.

I have been to lots of bakeries in Philadelphia and hands down Flying Monkey is the best. The cupcakes are light and moist, the frosting is delicious, the cookies and brownies are to die for.

Everything about this place is fantastic. They've got, hands down the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. Oh, and the richest brownies. And tastiest oatmeal cookie sandwiches. Get yourself there immediately.
