I'd give 5+ stars for the decor, 3 1/2 stars to the menu (which I want to like more...some things are spot on, like the micro burgers and the garlic fries, but I find the side dish menu to be too potato-heavy; more vegetable options would be nice), and 3/12 stars to the service. I've had great service in the dining rooms, but I keep getting the same server when I'm seated at the tables in the bar and he is not at all good (not familiar with the beer list, brought the wrong food -- not quite what we ordered, as in, he put the order in wrong or didn't verify that the kitchen prepared it correctly), forgot to put in our appetizer order, etc.

That being said, I'm still giving Firefly 4 stars overall because it's a neighborhood gem and shows a lot of ambition and creativity on the part of the owners and managers. I'm still sad that Bjonda no longer exists, so let's not let it happen again to Firefly!

I had the garlic fries at Firefly the other evening...They were great!! The skylight room was full...and the fireplace lounge so cozy. Perfect Winter fix!!!

A wonderful casual yet sophisticated atmosphere with an outstanding menu.

You must try the Micro Burgers! The Adobo Shredded Pork and the Grilled Pizza are also favorites. Their french fries have been rated the best in town. Check out the Sunday Brunch..it is fabulous.
