Both a culinary and cultural experience Emilio's was the first restaurant that Emilio Gervilla owned and was opened in 1988. Serving authentic European Spanish Tapas, Emilio's was an instant success, and it was named one of Chicago's Ten Best New Restaurants by the prestigious Chicago Magazine; a host of awards followed. The rich ambiance of Spain fills this intimate restaurant: tile mosaics, murals of Spanish Life, plates and faux finishes adorn the walls, while groups of patrons sit around their quaint cafe style tables sharing their tapas in the same manner as people share appetizers. An extensive list of Spanish wines, sherries and ports are available. Meticulously selected Spanish music completes the atmosphere. Seasonally, a canopy covered outdoor Cafe is open.
