Eide's is one of the oldest comic shops in the U.S.. After 33 years under the same ownership, Eide's remains not only the best and largest comic shop in Pittsburgh but, one of the premier comic shops in the world. Not content to be a world class comic shop, Eide's became "Eide's Comics and Records" in 1978 and quickly established itself as Pittsburgh's hippest music store. By 1991 Eide's had further mutated into "Eide's Entertainment Superstore" which today, reigns as Pittsburgh's finest comic shop, best music store, leading video sell-through only store and the hippest source for alternative press and cutting edge books and magazines.
