Show details What's your take?We are the only arboretum and botanical garden in the USA staffed entirely by volunteers. Over 250 dedicated individuals maintain the trees, plants and shrubs, and seed-gifts which are all labeled throughout the garden. A special thank you to all of our guests and volunteers! In 2006 we had guests come from 47 of the 50 states and 10 foreign countries. We had over 250 volunteers reporting more than 14,900 hours in 2006. In addition there are thousands of hours also completed by area schools, clubs, businesses and community service. We currently have 85 volunteers as part of the RSVP program.
