Stan and Denise Zafran met at where else but an Ice Cream seminar at Penn State University. The couple previously owned two Denise's in Greater Boston, MA -- Somerville and Arlington. They returned to Columbus in 2004 to be closer to Denise's family and open the current Denise's location in Clintonville, Ohio.
