The Dancer’s Edge Studio opened in fall 2002, and has grown tremendously each year. The studio is family owned and operated, and offers more than 100 classes each week. The Dancer’s Edge Studio is the largest dance facility in Macomb Township, with four classrooms and lobby with viewing windows. Dancer's Edge Studio is proud to announce the opening of their second location in Shelby Township in September of 2007. The new studio has 3 spacious rooms and a beautiful lobby for the dancers and parents. DES is blessed to be able to mentor young children and bring joy to their lives through dance. Dancer's Edge is a fun and caring studio that makes sure to challenge each and every student in their company and recreational programs.

My daughter danced there for 6 years. She has since moved on to college but her heart will always be with the staff of Dancer's Edge. They care so much for every student there. The studio has something to offer at every level. You too will love this studio!!!!!

This studio offers wonderful dance instructors! My daughter tried another studio and did not like dance until we tried Dancer's Edge. She has fallen in love with dance, due to the great teachers and the staff there! We have been with the studio now for 3 years!

I do not have children who dance.
But I have worked with the owner of Dancer's Edge Studio, Kathy Moretto, for eight years now. I witnessed the Moretto family build their business from the ground up, and saw the sweat and sheer hard work that went into it, from planning the interior of their building on graph paper to brainstorming names to stuffing mailboxes with pamphlets. All this after both Dave and Kathy worked full time jobs. Kathy showed up every day at work at 6:30 AM. I couldn't survive on the few hours of sleep she gets a night.
On a daily basis, I listen to the dedication that Kathy and her whole family feel for the parents and children who attend their studio.
Did I mention her daughters, the instructors, dance like angels? Seriously, I am not into dance, but when I watched a recital tape a few years ago, I almost cried they were so good. And they can teach!
I saw the time when they barely had enough dancers to take to Disneyworld to this year, when they won the most prestigious award Disney gave out.
So, I have to say that if I had children who danced, Dancer's Edge would be my studio.

This studio is amazing! The teachers are very helpful and guide us to be beautiful dancers. I have been in the performing company and all star team for three years and this will be my fourth. I love it here and would never go anywhere else. PLEASE KEEP VOTING FOR DES!

My daughter has been at this studio going on her 3rd year and it has been such a great experience. The teachers of this studio are amazing and the rectial I look forward to attending every year to see all the exciting new dances.

My daughter took Jazz/Pom last year and loved every second of it. She is now signed up for 2 classes this year. Wonderful studio and wonderful teachers!

My daughter has taken Jazz/Pom and Ballet @ Dancer's Edge Studio and she can't wait to go back! The instructors are so talented and so patient and they really make the kids feel special. They teach them in a way that is fun while giving them the guidance they need to perform confidently. I would recommend this school to anyone!

Former teacher for many of the students at Dancers' Edge. Never have had the privilege to teach with their faculty, but I know my former dancers absolutely love the experience and skills they've acquired. Wish I could see them more. Wishing DES the best of luck!!

we have been attending now for 3 years and we absolutely love it! the instructors are wonderful and so amazing with the girls and Kathy(who runs the place) is a saint! keep up the good work!

OMG i love this studio. I started last year and this has to be my favorite studio of alll time. Miss Kelly and Miss Alisa are the best dancer instructors anyone could ask for. Mr. Dave and Mrs. Kathy are the BESTTTTTT. Thank you to all you do for us to help us learn more about dance and have a good time as well. :D

My daughter tried free dance day and had so much fun with the staff and other children. Now she wants to sign up for everything, we are looking forward to this year.

I am a Company dancer at DES, well I should say that I joined this summer and the last 2 weeks have been kicking myself for not moving here sooner. I just want to say that I had no idea what I was getting into when we came here but I was welcomed by the teachers and students. I have learner more in 2 weeks time than I thought possible. I am working harder and have a sense of direction.
My mom was right, OK, there I said it.
Thanks Miss Kathy, Kelly and Alsia, I am having fun again.

Miss Kelly and Miss Alisa are awesome teachers! They both know how to work hard yet have fun at the same time! I only got to dance company with them for one year and I only wish that I would have started years earlier! I have watched many of the girls grow over the last few years and the push that they are getting from their teachers are turning them into incredible dancers! Keep up the great work!

I've been to a lot of dance recitals, but never have ever watched any as professional as the "Dancer's Edge" group!! they were just fantastic and the costumes were sooo colorful and beautiful! I'M PROUD TO HAVE MY GRANDDAUGHTERS IN THE DANCERS EDGE STUDIO! M.B.

Dancer's Edge Studio is not just about winning, but trying your best and never giving up. I do not dance just for fun and to make friends but to set goals and work hard in class for competition! All of our accomplishments this year were a team effort with everyone at the studio working together. Go DES!!!!

I visited the Shelby / Rochester location last week and the staff spent over an hour with my daughter and I.
I explained that we had to pay x amount of money in advance to be a line dancer at another studio and the owner of DES said that we know what a difficult decision it is to leave another studio but they would apply that amount towards our tuition.
I can't say enough about sitting down with the DES staff for 1 hour and just talking about my daughter and what direction she needs to go in.
I have not spoken with a director at our studio this much in over the 5 years, total.
This is why we are switching to Dancer's Edge Studio.

The cost of tuition and costumes are less than half, no joke.

My daughter recently switched studios to DES. She was always just so-so about dance even though she was on the performing company. Now, she can't wait to get there. A couple weeks ago we were actaully watching two of her best friends and when it came time for dance, she waved goodbye and ran out the door. I don't think she would have been so anxious if we would have stayed at the other studio. Great job DES!

Dancers Edge Studio is truly an amazing dance studio and we love it here soooooo much! And we love everyone their! DES is really our home away from home! We always have sooo much fun at competitions and recitals and even in class! WE LOVE DES!

DES IS THE BESTTT!
i could NEVER leave dancers edgee in my lifeee! i love it there and everyone is like family, we may have are off and ons but we all love eachother every much! this yearr was a awesome yearr! i love all my dances and we placed very good! but we couldnt have done it with out are amazing dance teachers who spend all there time at the studio!
