The Dance Studio of Park Slope is the original center for dance and fitness in Park Slope for both Children and Adults. Centrally located and easily accessible by mass transit and within walking distance of neighborhood schools - on beautiful 7th Avenue - (corner building 7th Ave. and Union St.) with entrance at 808 Union Street on the second floor. (elevator building) With 3200 square feet, The Dance Studio boasts three, unobstructed, studios: sunfilled and fresh air. (right top photo of Studio I - facing 7th Avenue) Our Children's Program offers dance, gymnastics, musical theatre and toddler / pre-school classes. The Children's school year is divided into three trimesters: Fall / Winter / Spring. 2006 Fall trimester begins Wednesday. September 6th. Our school culminates with a June Recital Performance. (right bottom photo is from the 25th Anniversary Recital in 2001) Our Adult Program offers dance and fitness group classes, private training in toning, Pilates Mat & Alexander Technique. Prenatal, Postpartum and Mom & Baby yoga classes are also offered under the direction of Beth Donnelly Caban - www.yogabethbkny. The adult ballet and tap classes have the opportunity to also perform in our June Recital.
