The Dahlia Bakery is located right next to the Dahlia Lounge, along 4th Avenue between Virginia and Lenora. This tiny store front bakery allows you to take home the delicious desserts and breads served in Douglas' five restaurants. All of the bakery's offerings are baked on the premises, in our pastry kitchen headed by pastry chef Patric Gabre-Kidan. Rustic artisan breads (the same that are served in the restaurants) are baked by head bread baker Gwen Grande. Also from the bread ovens are convenient savory items such as 3-seed breadsticks, semolina flatbread, and herb crostini to carry home for easy entertaining.

Hello Duh...
Poor! And, don't call your cornbread "Sweet Cornbread" - it's not cornbread, it's just a loaf of white bread that is nothing special in itself with a sprinkle of a few corn niblets. And, counter staff have an atitudes when you are new in the store and taking your time deciding - they're downright rude, as if you're wasting their time. And, it's not like there was a lineup!
