A soothing setting in soft shades of off-white, gray and blue is sparked with well-chosen framed needlework from Cyprus and reproductions of busts, vases and platters displayed on a ceiling-level shelf. Hanging lamps in verdigris and white add a Mediterranean touch.

Most authentic by far than any other dining experience in Greek Town...The only place that serves Halloumi...you will never be disappointed in any meal served..and the portions are HUGE!!! Owner's wife Heleni makes the best dessert (Cypriot Pineapple Cake YUM!)

No one feels like a stranger once they leave this place. From the owners to the staff, you are treated as if you are a life-long friend. The food is absolutely fabulous as well as the portion sizes. I enjoy making my meal from countless appetizer options.

The Cyprus Taverna is one of Greek Town and Detroit's jewels. The lamb! The Feta! The Flaming Cheese! I would highly recommend this charming restaurant to anyone. The staff is wonderful and friendly.
I have had and attended many large Private parties there on the 2nd floor and it was wonderful every time. This is a must try. You will be hooked just like my family!! Enjoy!!!

This is a wonderful spot in Greek Town - brighter and cheerier decor than many of the other spots. The stuffed salmon is fabulous and they even stock Cyprus beer.
