Great drinks - hard to get a table, but if you can get in, it is worth the wait. Food is very good for the price and they serve late night.

Great gourmet pizza in Harvard Square (there is also a location near Fenway/Kenmore) -- dim lighting makes it a little more intimate than other pizza spots. They have a pretty good selection of wines too.

Bowling is always a fun first date -- Kings is classy and has music, decent food and its always a good time.

I think Tasca is a great place for a first or second date. Nice atmosphere that isn't too dark and romantic, but is still a nice intimate atmosphere. The food is very conducive to sharing and they have great Sangria. I think it's definitely a better first-date atmosphere than Tasca and probably Tapeo.
