Close call between Downtown and Marty's. Marty's has the edge on MicroBrew's and has a HUGE selection of 22oz'ers. Downtown has a huge selection of imported beers mostly from Germany/Belgium but also some rare Asian stuff. I give the edge to Downtown but you can't go wrong at either place.

Marty's in Newton can't be beat for beer and wine selection. The owner is very hands-on and makes sure that only the finest products are brought in.

While I voted for Downtown -- a shoutout to Ball Square. The guys that run this tiny place keep new stuff coming in every week. Every time I visited I would get to try something new. Friendly too.
