Ok so maybe its not as much about the bowling as it is about the live music, awesome food and great drinks while you bowl. Great bands come here and its an eclectic mix of people. This is probably my most favorite place, EVER.

There is a carpet mural of bowling stuff on the wall... enough said. Oh and they have bubble hockey and pool.

No frills or gimmicks, just balls and pins. Old school bowling at its best.

So much fun to read the stories of old bowling legends in the front entryway. Awesome. It's like the hall of fame of candlepin.

It's not really near anything, and kind of a hipster scene, but its the only bar/live music venue/bowling alley I've ever been to.

Cheapest -- best location -- nice lanes, friendly -- they let you take food in.
