A Bakery with a half hour wait? That just proves how good these guys are. Scali bread and Seeded Deli Rye are the best around.
Mariposa bakes all of their breads on premises and I have never had a bad item. They use a nice thick-cut of their fresh bread on all of their sandwiches. Their breads are hearty and nutty and really delicious.
Darwin's uses their bread, and the olive bread sandwiches is freaking amazing.
These guys supply a lot of retailers in the Boston area and you can buy direct from their bakery.
It's not just pastries. They have freshly baked breads, rolls, etc. Lot's of European-style breads you won't find other places.
Who can beat buying a chocolate chip cookie while getting bread for the fam!

So great! And such a cute and quaint, neighborhood feel to the place.
