A good place to learn how to ride a bike?

My wife never had the chance to learn how to ride a bike growing up in China. Can anybody think of a flat spot with no car traffic and not too many pedestrians? The Minuteman Trail comes to mind, but it's always has too many people in groups or on rollerblades.

There is a huge parking lot right next to it, by the Fresh Pond Plaza and movie theater...probably won't have too much trouble finding a spot there!
