Being well-known in Boston and not sucking is a rarity, but the Sevens pulls it off. It's amazing how it has maintained its down to earth feel and neighborhood charm through the years.

I can't imagine ever going out to a bar in Beacon Hill and not ending the night at BHP. That's a pretty good indicator.

Red Hat is my BH bar of choice. I find their trivia night to be one of the best in the city; free popcorn downstairs doesn't hurt either.
