If you can make it out to Waltham (Watch City!), this is the best brewpub in the greater Boston area. They have great beer, inexpensive food, a comfortable atmosphere, big screen TV's a cool bar, great staff. Waltham is also a pretty hopping little city center with a great cinema, and a number of other good bars.

Cambridge Brewing Company is the only place that brews beer in the pub that also has a patio. That combined with the quality of the food and their always great seasonal beers make this place my choice.

CBC is a Cambridge institution of many years and is right in my backyard. I *really* wish I liked their beer. They always taste kind of harsh to me. I've never been to Beer Works, I'll have to check that out.

I hate voting for a chain, but I think they've got some awesome beer there.
