An incredible selection, especially given limited space. Stuff you won't find elsewhere, and a cool place to hang out besides. Great documentary selection (yes, they can be fascinating - they're not all like PBS); matchless foreign selection; and the ability to browse and get staff recommendations which beats the pants off Netflix.

local, independently owned, selection that trumps the mainstream stores and flexibility when it comes to taking customer requests for movies to stock. prices are reasonable and the return-by-mail option comes in handy, along with pre-paid rentals, etc. i could continue to brag about this place, but instead, anyone can come in and ask me about it since i work in the oakland store on craig street. so come in and confront me about how i voted for the store i work in, my conscience can take it.

The ONLY place in Pittsburgh to find off-the-wall movies. Great selection in genres the chains have so little of, like foreign, independent, documentaries, and glbt. A must for all movie connesieurs.

Incredible selection and knowledgeable staff make this my personal favorite. Too many people complain about businesses closing and having to resort to impersonal service via the internet, well, this is the solution for that problem - interact with real people - staff or other customers. Many times we have been involved with impromptu conversations with strangers about films we like or they like. Always an entertaining place to be.
