Cuff's is a great pickup bar. My friends jest that the place is crawling with cougars -- (and they may be right) -- but it's a very casual bar so you don't have to put on any show or play to a pretentious crowd like a lot of other places in Boston.

Depends how old you are, but this is a good pick-up bar for the young professional. Lots of Harvard grad students too.
