Big Papi--David Ortiz--is the most popular athlete in Boston! It might be closer for Tom Brady if the Patriots had won the Super Bowl this year!

Well, the Patriots just broke our hearts and it's hard to separate any of the big three -- I would agree that Ortiz is wildly popular, but you could maybe argue that Jonathan Papelbon has the biggest cult following in Boston.
