Coffee Spots in Cambridge
Created by: neight
Some of my favorite independent coffee shops in the faire city of Cambridge.
-
1369 Coffee House
Two locations -- Central and Inman -- I like the Inman one more. Great to work in and you can look out over the square. Pure Cambridge here...
-
Darwin's Ltd.
Darwin's also has two locations (both on the outskirts of Harvard Square). I visit the newer one on Cambridge St across from CLRS. Great coffee, cookies and sandwiches.
-
Simon's Coffee
Hard to park, but man is the coffee good. Nice baked goods also -- scones, croissants you name it.
-
Cafe Pamplona
Great selection of international coffees. Watch your head if you're sipping inside (low ceiling).
-
Verna's Coffee and Donut Shop
Verna's will always have a special place in my heart. They serve iced coffee all year and have the best chocolate glazed donuts on the planet.
-
Mariposa Bakery
Service is spotty at best, but they have good coffee, good pastries and a good location.
-
Grand Prix Café
Near my old office -- overpriced but the latte is probably the best I've had in Cambridge.
-
Cafe Algiers
Turkish style coffee -- not for everyone, but if you're in the mood -- it can't be beat. Great food too!
