Cobalt has been a gay DC icon for more than a generation. Cobalt has become an undisputed center of DC's social scene with a classy martini bar and lounge on the first floor and an unbeatable dance and club space on the second floor.

Personally, I work at Cobalt. I host Drag Karaoke there on Sunday Nights. My name is known as JezzieBell there. When I first moved here, Cobalt was not the top of my list of places to go, but after working there and actually getting to know the employees and DJ's...the atmosphere swallowed me up. The music plays to everyone, not just one set of people, and you can't beat the drink prices and specials..and the drag queens are nice and fun (oh yeah! I am the drag queen). Lena Lett and I are the resident drag personalities there, and personally I couldn't see myself going anywhere else!
