the staff is friendly, helpful and has a wealth of knowledge. visiting this needlework shop is like being a kid in a candy store. Pretty soon I'm just going to have my check direct deposited to City Knits so I can surround myself in all the colorful yarn candy!!! Way to go Karen and staff and thanks for the Clem store. j

City Knits offers a broad appeal to all skill levels, tastes and pocketbooks of knitters and crocheters. I look for something new and exciting each month as they expand our fiber lines and color ranges.
The real difference between a good store and a great store is the staff. The staff at City Knits is simply extraordinary. They have a depth of experience in different areas. Most
importantly, they are friendly and fun. Whatever your interest, there is someone here to share it with you.

The yarn selection at City Knits is very unique. Karen offers many yarns that other area shops don't have. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I love all the yarns. I have never seen such a selection! The customer service is beyond expectations. I learned new techniques that helped me cut my time that it takes to knit by 1/2 and everyone was always ready to drop everything to make sure that when I walked out of the shop I would remember how to incorporate my new skill.

Great selection, nice atmosphere, and helpful people. I love this place. But since it is down the street from Motown, I can't help but wonder why they didn't call it "Knitsville USA"!

City Knits not only has a fantastic array of yarns, books and accessories, but the bonus is how much they have done to help revive downtown Detroit. With their classes, knitting on the people mover, hours to accommodate theater goers --- there is so much to like about City Knits!
