I grew up not too far from South Philly, so I've had my share of good cheesesteaks. Nothing, I repeat, nothing out of South Philly is as good as this place. I think they got robbed in that 610 WIP contest.

Absolutely the BEST!!! I have a friend in Louisville KY who I introduced to Chink's two years ago when he was here on business. Now, everytime he's in Philly, he stops in. He has commented that he's NEVER had a better sandwich in his life!

I disagree. I recently had one of their steaks and I was very disappointed. Meat was gristly and greasy.

Although it has been awhile since I had a Chinks Steak, all I can say is they are one of the best I have ever had. Most likely the people who are voting for the top ranking competitors just have never experienced a Chinks steak. Do yourself a favor and take a drive to Chinks and sit in the charming old fashioned steak shop, experience a steak and one of the milkshakes. Thumbs Up for Chinks! Hope you move up in the rankings.

These cheese steaks are the best I've ever had. I go out of my way to get a Chink's steak because there are no others worth eating. They are the perfect combination of steak and cheese! Oh and don't forget their fried onions (I don't know what they do to them but they even taste better than other onions)!!

I've been to them all and Chink's is the best tasting, most tender steaks anywhere! The rolls are next and firm and the shakes are made from scratch. Get a Vanilla malt with your cheesesteak and you'll be in heaven.
