Owned by Detroit Red Wings Defenseman and future Hall of Famer, Chris Chelios. We are located in the heart of downtown Detroit, just a slap shot away from Comerica Park. Cheli's Chili offers a taste of old Detroit, with great food and drinks. Experience your favorite sports event or Red Wings game on one of our 36 flat-screen TVs, or take the shuttle to Joe Louis Arena for a game. Cheli's Chili is the perfect place to enjoy live entertainment, and remember, you never know who might show up!

First time at the Dearborn Cheli's was a disaster. The chili is good, but the waitress couldn't get an order right if her life depended on it. From serving the wrong beer, the wrong entree and then serving the appetizer after the entree she proved the dumb blond theory. Plus nose rings are not a pleasant sight on a waitress. Won't go back.

There's so many sports bars to choose from, but the view into Comerica from the roof of Cheli's puts it over the top. Plus they have good food, and you might even see Chelios himself working behind the bar.
Doc's in Livonia is a good runner-up for the sheer amount of TV's available for watching the games.

Excellant Chili no joke!!! The beers not bad either! The atmosphere is exciting and the staff is friendly! We go before the theater or games on occasion!

I go to many Tigers games...as well other sporting events and concert shows. I enjoy going to Chelis and seeing smiling faces while enjoying a drink and eating some nachos. The atmosphere is great...the prices are fair... and the staff works so hard to keep my friends and me happy. Chelis Chili Bar is the BEST hands down.
