Charlie's is hands down the best bar in Denver. Many bars and clubs have come and gone in Denver the last several years, and many more have tried to reinvent themselves, only to fall flat on their faces. Not Charlie's. It has been here longer than any other gay bar, and it has ALWAYS been popular and has always stayed true to itself. No need to be stand and model or be pretentious or pretend you're part of the NYC elite socialites here ... there are plenty of other bars in Denver for that. And when people get tired of those bars after a couple of hours, then they come to Charlie's to finish the night on a happy and high note with friends. Cheap drinks, nice and friendly people, and a place where everyone feels at home.

Great friendly atmosphere, great staff, and then the fact that over the past several years Charlie's Denver has had many of fund raisers that has done nothing but help the community and the fact that it all goes to the city of Denver.
