they know what they have exactly; they know exactly what it is that we need and explain it and provide it humanely and with good humor. they are both an important neighborhood resource and are, in fact, like the neighborhood mayor's office, and they'll actually do things (rewire lamps, fix mirrors, and more) graciously and cheerfully.

Everything you could possibly need and a great staff to help you find it immediately. They'll even cut wood for you or rent you a drill or ladder--great when you don't want to buy a tool you'll only use once or twice.

Every one at Charles Street Supply solves problems, large and small, with ingenuity. They also have quality hardware. You gotta love people who sell cup hooks by the piece. Our neighborhood would be the poorer without this valuable resource.
