I am always a satisfied customer! I have been going there since their opening and it feels great to walk in and be acknowledged on a first name basis. Its atmosphere is very welcoming and the prices are completely unbeatable.

They're never pretentious or too forward with the customer, but they always help make PERFECT recommendations. They have the most exclusive and sought-after import titles in the area, and they play the BEST music in-store, to stimulate your shopping senses!

The staff is amazing. They are happy to find anything you are looking for. You can listen to what you want before you buy it. You can listen to whole tracks, not just 30 seconds, which is important especially with dance music.

I like the fact that, in the Georgetown area and so many others, The Corporate machine has taken over, and lost much of its soul. Even though CD Warehouse is for all intent a franchise. They are still independently owned and operated. I always know I can discover something new when I visit. Not something that has been force fed me by the media. Good Luck CDW!!!

The people at CD Warehouse in Georgetown are in tune with the constantly changing need of the music buying public. All the staff work so well as individuals and also as a unit. Giving personal consultation and finding out what we really want, but may not know what is out there. It's like going to the audio version of a five star resteraunt, but I dont pay the heavy price tag!!!

The owners are cool - they know their music. It's nice to see a familiar face and a friendly greeting whenever I want to pick up something new. I would rather give my money to someone like that. I also like that they will buy my old CDs and special order for me if need be. Very convenient location and decent prices.

Small store that packs a big punch. The most concentrated selection of the best new and old music around, from reggae to electronica to rap and rock and pop. Fair prices on both new and used cds, and the most knowledgeable, friendliest staff I've ever met in a music store. Cheers gentlemen, keep it up.

CD Warehouse is the main way I stay up on new music. For me the Clear Channel radio stations don't cut it. It's easy to build a relationship with the folks who work there, and once they know the kinds of music you like, they're great about recommending other things that you would not otherwise be exposed to. They keep on the cutting edge and as an independent CD store, they are doing their grass-roots part to keep music alive in DC.

First, the knowledge that they have of current records is incredible; Second, there is no other store in the U.S. that has the quantity of new, foreign, electronic music that they have; Third, their customer service is impeccable; Fourth, since I live in Los Angeles, their periodic e-mails are knowledgeable and informative; Fifth, when I arrive in their store, they immediately recognize me and know the type of music, artists, that I prefer and are able to provide me with numerous samples to listen to (sometimes I call ahead and they have all samples prepared for me); Sixth, I know of no other store of their type that has a sample of EVERY cd to listen to; Seventh, they are honest with their opinions and steer me in the right direction; and Eighth, shopping in their store is on the top of my list of what I look forward to in traveling to Washington, D.C. Thank you CD Warehouse. I am having to purchase a larger iPod since I have over 3000 songs from cds purchased at their store and have maxed out my current unit. Oh well.

I love their emails, letting me know what's new in their store, upcoming releases and reissues. The notifications aren't impersonal or generic mass or spam emails. They are detailed and thoughtful, in their store as well as on line.
