The best steakhouse ever. Start with salad with homemade dressing made fresh at your table. The twice baked potatoes are awsome. Now for the main course- steaks perfectly cooked and seafood to die for. If your out for a night on the town at a hotel, they will also pick you up and drop you off. Have tickets for a event don't worry they will take you there also!!
I have been eating at Carl's for almost 50 years. Besides their steak, they grind their own burger which is wonderful.
Worst dinning experience we have ever had. Made reservation to eat before coming downtown to see the Lion King. Service was absolutely unreal, terrible!!!! Food was terrible and the cocktails mediocre at best. I had eaten at Carl's some 15 years ago and the experience was fantastic. It must be way past it's prime, someone needs to shut it down and padlock the doors.
I had a lobster tail and it was very good. I also think the location for it quaint.
I have been eating with you guys since I was a little kid! Great memories. I can't say enough about the Filet Mignon! Best steak in town by far!!!!
No matter what you hear, Carl's is the standard to which all other steakhouses are compared! Haven't found one they've lost to yet but it's only been 20 years that I have been trying.
A family and friends favorite for many years. The food and service are outstanding.
Outstanding service! And the best food in town! I travel frequently and dine in the best restaurants the world has to offer. Carl’s is amongst the best in the world! And they haven't changed much over the years, because they don’t need to!
The most succulent, mouth-watering, flavorful steaks you'll ever have...and also a long time tradition of Detroiters for generations.
As a little girl my parents would take me there for dinner and OHHHHH MY, GREAT. Haven't been there lately but I'm sure it is still wonderful.
