Established in 1992 as Washington, D.C.'s first brew pub since Prohibition, our Downtown location was conceived to bring the art of hand-crafted brewing back to the nation's Capitol. It is nestled in the heart of the new downtown retail area in the renovated Greyhound Bus Terminal. Our Corporate Chef, Tony Avasakdi, has created a menu with that goes above and beyond average brewpub fare. From our award-winning Chowders, to our daily specials that vary by location, even the choosiest diner can find something delicious on our menus. Our dedicated brewers identify and use only the highest quality hops, fresh yeast and select malt to brew many of the world's great ales, lagers and pilsners. State of the art breweries in each restaurant enable our brewmasters to bring you beers fresher than you ever thought possible!
