Canine College offers daycare, boarding, grooming, training and supplies for your dog. Our extreme customer service - to your dog and you - is what sets us apart from other doggie daycare and boarding facilities. We have earned the trust of thousands of customers since we opened in May 2006 and that trust continues to nurture our growth. We have fun with your dog. We play with your dog in one of our large play fields. Your dogs, who have completed our pledge program – our temperament test - play in our play fields up to 9 hours per day with our play field staff (coaches). Our coaches are trained in pack behavior and dog management skills and have breed-specific knowledge. We stay with your dogs while they are in our play fields all day long! They are never left unattended while in our play fields! We are very proud that you have selected us to care for your dog. As we continue to grow, we will continue to introduce new programs, training and fun events for your dog and you.

I am a new dog owner and new to the grooming scene. Chris took her time to explain to me the needed grooming and maintenence needed for my particular breed. She was fabulous. My dog, Benson, has special needs and Chris has worked with us on every level. The prices are average are similiar or slightly higher than the big pet chains. However, you are guarenteed a good professional cut. I am very particular about the care my dog receives and Chris has delivered every time. My hats of to Canine College and their grooming team.

Our dogs are so well behaved now. They loved the training and we loved the results!! MCA, Lisa and her staff are experienced and professional---they get the job done!

My dog loves going to "school" and playing with his friends. When he gets home, he is totally wiped out! The staff are the best; it's obvious they love working with the dogs.

I have been going here for 2 years now. I love this place. I was a little skeptical at first about doggy daycare, but now, I recommend with 100% certainty to all my friends, Canine College. The staff here is very knowledgeable and they all have dogs themselves! They are outgoing and friendly, it's like walking into the Cheers bar as Norm when you come in the door!

I have been going here for over 1 year now. I love going here because my dogs get so tired after playing with other dogs. It helps with their social skills and the staff is so open and outgoing! They are the best place for training, boarding, grooming and just all around good times for your dogs!

Not only is Canine College fun for my dog, Suzie, it is fun for me too. Great people, great website, wonderful programs for Suzie and me. Everyone there is great and their grooming salon is so accommodating and does great work.

VERY reasonable rates, and my pup gets to play the whole day, too! Staff treats your pet as if it were their own. Webcam is great - see your pet while you are away! I even called in to check on my dog while I was on a trip, and they called back within the hour to let me know how well he was doing!

I moved out of the state, but whenever I come home for the holidays I board my baby with Canine College. I have even boarded him when I go on vacation in a different state. I just book my flight with a layover at DTW so I can drop off my little man. I would never trust his care to anyone else.

When my daughter and I toured different local facilities this was the cleanest and friendliest we visited. All the staff cares about our dog and treat her and us like a million. Highly recommend Canine College for any service for your dog!

This is the only facility I toured that allowed me to just drop in. They also don't allow dogs to board unless they have had a temperament test. The owner really cares about safety for her staff and our pets. The other Boarding and Daycare facilities I researched claimed supervised play. That statement is misleading. They don't necessarily have someone on the play fields, they are just in the building. Accidents can happen very quickly. If you want the best then look no further than Canine College. They have at least two people per play field. The staff is well trained in animal behavior and pet CPR.

Clean place and great people. My dog loves to go to doggie daycare here. There are lots of other dogs and the staff stays in the play area with them all the time (not like other places). He is very tired and happy when he comes home. He boards a few times a year and I never worry because the staff is terrific - all of them. Great place - I'd give them 10 stars if it was available.

Our dog Bailey loves coming here. He starts to bark and wagging his tail as soon as we turn onto 10 mile road. By the time we get to Canine College, he's ready to jump out the door! Great Place - great staff.

Superb daycare facility! The staff is fantastic and makes everyone feel (pets and owners) important and cared for. I've used other daycares which have been "good" but Canine College is in a category of its own ahead -- far ahead of the rest of the pack. It is a truly top notch facility and I would recommend it to everyone who wants their dogs to receive the best care available in the Metro Detroit area.

If you have a lab or other active-type dog, this is the ONLY boarding place for your pooch. The dogs come home tired and happy. I don't think they know we were gone. Kind and courteous staff is the best.

I went on the vacation and left my precious boy in the care of Canine College.
They went above and beyond for my little guy. They made sure is long coat was brushed daily as I requested. They also prepared his meals per my instructions.
While I was lounging by the pool so was my little guy.
This is wonderful facility. Please give it a try.

Canine College is top notch for Boarding, Daycare, Grooming and Training.
The staff is very loving and nurturing. They truly make a stay with them very special. I wouldn't trust any place else with my prized possessions.

We have taken both of our dogs there and it is a terrific place. The dogs are happy to go in the door and are taken care of. No hidden costs for extras - dogs play all day and I was able to get them both groomed there before I picked them up! I highly recommend Canine College.

I have been taking my dog Trigger to Daycare at Canine College for almost 1 year. I called and searched several daycares before choosing Canine College.
Most of the other daycares require an appt for a tour and allow dogs of all sizes to play together. This to me is asking for trouble or a tragedy.
The dogs are kept on separate play fields by size and temperament. They are allowed 9 hours of play on the fields and are supervised by no less than two coaches per field.
A lot of the other daycares boast cage free. I think that this a mistake. Especially for large dogs that are allowed to run and play after eating. They can suffer a fatal condition called bloat. Also some dogs need a place to be left alone when they are worn out from all the playtime. Canine College is second to none!
They also just won multiple awards in the Michigan Tails 2007 Readers' Choice.
