BRIX Wine Shop is located at the corner of Washington Street and Savoy Street in Boston’s historical South End. They offer a hand-picked selection of wine and spirits-from everyday wines, to collectibles, to off-the-beaten-path producers. Their boutique setting and attentive personal service sets them apart. They host the best complimentary wine tastings in the city on Friday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday afternoons from 3 to 5 pm. They also provide private tasting services for clients at their home or office. Stayed tuned for the opening of their second shop on Broad Street in the Financial District, which will have a private tasting room.

There's no other shop like Brix. It's physically very attractive and comfortable and the least 'commercial' wine shop I know of. The wine is terrific, the tastings a highlight and the owners, Cary and Caudia (forgive the spelling if incorrect) are a pleasure to do business with.

This is the most customer friendly wine shop, as well as having a great selection of wines from around the world. Also they have the most knowledgeable staff I have seen.

Unique and diverse selections, knowledgeable and friendly staff, weekend wine tastings that educate consumers about wine and the regions they come from, special brix by night tastings with the wine makers/importers, layout of store is not overwhelming and there is space to move about without worrying about toppling over wine bottles, and the list goes on and on........

Brix has by far the best selection of wine and the best staff to help you find the right wine, even those wines they don't put on the shelves.

The BRIX Chix are two very classy, savy, and ultra-hip young ladies. They use beautiful crystal wine glasses for their wine tastings. A few weeks ago they featured New Zealand Savignon Blanc side-by-side tastings accompanied by fresh shucked oysters from a local company in Duxbury, Ma. Last year they had a wine crush event in their store. Brix is a beautiful shop to visit, very well designed for displaying wine, and the staff is extremely knowledeable, friendly, and trustworthy for quality advice.

The BRIX Chix are simply the best - deeply knowledgeable with excellent taste and recommendations. They host extraordinary wine tastings -- highly recommend attending one or using them for a private events. Plus their retail space is to die for. My other favorite is the BRIX Six (a six pack of wines). Enjoy!

Brix Wine Shop is incredibly informative. It does not matter if you are looking for a $10 bottle of wine or a $500 bottle of wine, the owners and staff at Brix treat everyone the same.....with knowledge and enthusiasm.

If Carrie recommends it, then I know it will be a good! Brix has a great selection of affordable wines, and a friendly & knowledgeable staff! I get the weekly emails so I can stay up-to-date on the tastings--which are always organized around some clever theme. I wish I lived closer--I'd go more often!

I had a delicious wine at my neice's house, and I looked up Brix on internet next day, and they were having a wine tasting with the Duxbury delicious oyster. mmm good.
So, I got a friend to go, and we enjoyed the place so much, as did I, and we each bought 2 bottles of wine.
Be warned.........we will be back!!!
