As a talented and creative child growing up in Brazil, Romero Britto often painted images on any medium he could find, including scraps of cardboard and newspaper. His inner passion and drive to excel served as an asset for a young man who was academically successful but with a longing nurture to his creative side. The innate love for learning and education inspired Britto to chanel his focus and commitment to excellence into his artwork. The dedication is what has helped Britto become and international success during the last 17 years. This Britto Gallery displays his works and the Romero Britto Foundation is also run from this locations. This fooundation is designed to enhance the lives of children by inspiring the community to become more involved. "It takes a village to raise a child" and through this ideal, he hopes to build a bright future for tomorrows leaders.
