In 1976 Ed Nemphos began Brentwood Foreign Auto Service in Baltimore. He started by servicing Volkswagen vehicles and as the Japanese and European markets began to flourish in this country, the shop evolved into a popular import specialty shop. As the business began to grow, Ed continued to instill the core values of honesty, quality and integrity into his staff. Those values have never changed and they were a big part of Brentwood Foreign Auto Service's growth. In 1987 the business was incorporated and started trading as Brentwood Automotive Inc. In 1993 the shop moved to its present location, 1035 W 41st Street in the Hamden/ Roland Park area of Baltimore. Today Brentwood Automotive is a family owned and operated business with Ed at the helm. The business now employs 10 people, 8 service bays and a vehicle sales division. The business remains an anomaly in the industry by using their core values as a guiding light.
