Every time I am in the Boston area I make sure to visit Bread & Chocolate -- I love seeing the smile on Eunice's face as much as I love the treats in the glass case. Do not overlook this place for breakfast, lunch, or a catered business meeting!

PERFECT chocolate chip cookies. The oatmeal raisin cookies are good too, but it's a good day when I get the chocolate chip cookies still warm from the oven.

They are the best in the world because the coffee and baked goods are outstanding and Eunice and Steve make it a fun place to visit every day. Their shop reminds me how important locally-owned, neighborhood businesses are to a community.

Bread & Chocolate has all the necessary ingredients: divine pastries, the perfect cup of coffee, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Somehow, owners Eunice and Steve Feller remember everyone's name, favorite kind of cupcake, and whether they want the French Roast or House Blend. But above all, everything from the beef stew to the coconut cake is PERFECTION!

We're at a loss as to how Eunice makes everything taste "the best" we've ever had, but we don't care. She's simply amazing. From sticky buns, chocolate chip cookies and various incredible chocolate desserts to Steve's awesome curry chicken sandwich, B&C is the best thing to happen to Newton in a very long time. They also helped cater a party for us and we were completely blown away. 5 stars!

By far the best addition to Newton in years. The baked goods they produce are among the best I've had anywhere. My favorites are the chocolate ginger scone for breakfast and the chocolate mousse for an absolutely decadent dessert.
