Cindy built up enough clientele and moved her office to a commercial location in 1993. She had a thriving practice consisting of 1800 clients that took 8 years to build. She then developed and opened Blue Sky Day Spa on August 1, 2000 with a small loan from Union Bank of California. Blue Sky Day Spa is a boutique european day spa in a serene setting in the "Fabulous Forties" area of East Sacramento. We offer Massage Therapy, Facials, Waxing, Natural Nail Services, and more. Clients experiencing 3 hours of service or more are always treated to a complementary lunch. Blue Sky Day Spa has won Best Day Spa 2005 Citysearch.com and Best Day Spa in Outword Magazine 2006.

I have been waxed by many different people, some were ok and some awful. When I went to Blue Sky Stephanie waxed me and it was the best wax I have ever had. It didnt hurt, she was fast and very thorough!!!

I have also stopped going to Blue Sky Day Spa. The first couple of sessions were terrific but the last few have been lousy. I also don't appreciate that gift certificates are restricted. I purchased a GC for a relative who was told upon setting her appointment that there was a special running but when she tried to pay with her GC was told that GC's couldn't be used on specials. The last time that I went there was construction going on during my "relaxing" massage. I politely complained to the owner who simply said it was temporary. She didn't really care that my experience there was much less than what it should have been.

I have stopped going to Blue Sky. Cindy Ajay was always rude, however I still continued going because of the wonderful treatments I received from Nora and Esperanza. However, the last time I went along with 2 guest was about a year ago and haven't been back since. We had made prior appointments about 3 weeks before with the expectation of paying the price listed at that time. Once we all completed our services and went to pay each of our bills were at least $20 more than expected which came to about $60 more for the 3 of us. Cindy informed us that the prices had recently increased. I mentioned to her that that wasn't the price listed at the time of the booking, it's too bad that she didn't seem one bit interested in keeping her clients satisfied, but with her always cold attitude I wasn't surprised.

The best Deep Tissue massage in the city is from Jimmie Duncan at Blue Sky Day Spa. Other treatments are excellent too.

I love the fact that they do not use harsh chemicals (ie: fake nail ingredients) that can pollute the indoor atmosphere. I don't feel like I have to hold my breath in order to get my nails done. Everyone is always so nice and accommodating. I always feel like a queen there! :)

I Think the staff that used to run Blue Sky was awesome. I'm not sure who's left anymore. I do know that the Owner is a total rude woman whom should not be in the office while business is open! I quit going there do to the rude actions of Cindy! I miss having the massages from Jennifer or Jessica. I miss the wonderful facials from Esperanza!
