I recently came to Dan Rick to do some cover up work. Dan superseded my expectations and covered up my old hacked up tattoo done by the well known local tattoo shop chain. Dan Rick delivered precisely what I wanted-I brought him a picture and he did exactly that pic over my old mess. Dan has a very positive attitude towards all people. I recommend this shop to everyone I know. POSS

You won't find a better artist than Mark Heggie. He's world reknown. He'll give you a tattoo so incredible people will literally stop you everywhere you go and ask you where you got it done at. Not that people's opinions matter, but it's just a testament to how stand-out his talents are.

This is hands down the best shop around. If you want an amazing tattoo you should never go anywhere else. (Trust me I know) Mark, hats off to you for gathering some of the best artists in the area!!!!! I send anyone who asks to you guys. P.S Thanks for the help with the horrible tattoo work I got elsewhere. I will NEVER stray again!!!

These guys do some of the most incredible work I've EVER seen! i have recently had the pleasure with working with one artist (Garth) and he gave me the most gorgeous tattoo I have! They have everything you need... talent, skillz, atmosphere, and espresso!

ALL the men at BIG TOP TATTOO are incredible!!

each of their styles is unique and custom.
i have yet to come across another tattoo shoppe in the metro detroit area that could come ANYWHERE near the caliber of work that these men produce.

in reaity....all the other tattoo shops are just DETAILS.

I have had 2 tattoo's done by Garth Hixon at Big Top Tattoo and I can't say enough about what a great experience it was.. Very clean and professional.. Garth is a great guy and an even greater artist.. Highly recommend.. Any time a friend or family member asks me where they should go for a tattoo I ALWAYS direct them to Big Top Tattoo.. No other shop in the area even comes close..
