Formed in early 2005, this Orlando based band has swept the scene with their unforgettable hooks and catchy lyrics. Between The Trees, developed in the west side of Orlando, began with lead vocalist Ryan Kirkland and the brothers, Josh and Jeremy Butler. In the early stages this small trio started writing and performing at small venues in the local Orlando area. Soon after, in Spring 2005, they chose a keyboardist, Wes Anderson, to join them in this venture. Realizing a need for another guitarist, Between The Trees soon sought after Brad Kriebel, a close friend and great musician. After finalizing the line up, this band began to write and collaborate different styles of music. The group has become known for their ability to create a common ground with the fans through their music using life experiences and friendship as their foundation.

What they write and play isn't just music. They aren't just playing music to make it big. They do it because they love it and their songs really help people through rough times. I know because their songs have helped me through many bad times.

The energy when they play live is electric. Their music represents topics bigger than themselves, like love and suicide and self esteem. Also, I know certain members of the band personally, and they are just really decent guys.

I remember seeing Between The Trees two or three years ago at a charity concert in a room the size of my living room... then the next year I saw them on the local stage at cornerstone Florida, and a few months ago I saw them get their record deal and attended their CD release at Hard Rock! They went from this little band I only saw because they played like two hours before Falling Up to one of my favorite bands playing at some of the most well known venues in Florida... they also have a great story and a lot of talent!

Between the trees has come so far. I remember when Ryan would lead worship at "thelement" not even 2 years ago! The first night that I saw BTT perform was at church. I have gone to 3 more of their shows. They are all around great people And they have such inspirational music! All of their songs relate to common real life circumstances! They Are GREAT!
