Best places to take my 1 year-old

The guide to easy in and easy out entertainment for my son in Boston.
-
The Red Wagon
In Beacon Hill, and the clothes here are a little too cute for the outdoor muddy kid. It is on Charles Street though, and that makes walking enjoyable if the weather is nice. Tiny story.
-
Stellabella Toys
Right on Mass Ave., but close enough to the Star Market parking lot so you can walk. Tons of old school toys, and lots of instruments. Also close to Porter Square Red Line.
-
Henry Bear's Park
Only been here once. Like Stellabella in some ways, just harder to get to.
-
Boston Children's Museum
My boy goes here all the time. Loves play areas and the fact that he can touch exhibits. Paid parking lot near by.
-
Barefoot Books
Huge fan. The bright colors and large selection of books makes this a good place to kill a few hours. Located on Mass Ave, so parking isn't that easy, but the store is large and has a number of little reading areas.
-
Magic Beans
In Brookline, so parking can be tough -- there is a big lot behind the store with meter parking. The store is big though, and lots of fun stuff in the Coolidge Corner area.
-
Summer Shack
I chose this place because by the atmosphere is perfect for good dinner without worrying about the little one making a scene. Picnic tables are covered with brown paper and large dining room is loud enough to muffle any meltdown.
