Best "Late Night" food spots downtown
Created by: neight
The prevailing wisdom is that Boston is terrible for late night dining. While it's probably true, there are a few hidden gems.
-
Chau Chow City
Open until at least 3am serving great Chinese food. The lines are often out the door. Some great people watching opportunities too.
-
Bova Bakery
Late night sweets in the North End -- nothing better than a cannolli at 3am - they have that square pizza stuff too if you're in the mood. 24 HOURS!!!!!
-
South Street Diner
Open all night -- typical diner fare -- near the expressway and Chinatown.
-
Franklin Cafe
South End treasure with full menu available until 1:30am. Truly a neighborhood feel to it.
-
Spike's
This is the spot near Berkley -- but the one in Allston open late. Good dogs!!! Burgers, Chicken...eh not so good.
-
Apollo Restaurant
Probably one of the sketchiest spots in Chinatown, but always wildly popular with the club-going crowd. Food isn't good, but the people watching is fantastic.
