Bauer Wine and Spirits is located on Newbury Street in Boston. The store has won several local awards and is recognized as one of the best places to sample and buy hard-to-find beer and wines. The website is extremely helpful and is updated frequently with new staff picks and upcoming events and tastings. Bauer Wine and Spirits does offer event consulting and catering.

Howie and the staff are smart, well-informed, really helpful, and understand the various needs of their customers. Whether I need a high-end wine for entertaining, something cheap and easy for a weekday dinner, or am feeling adventurous and want a recommendation of something new, Bauer's is the first place I turn.

Bauer has a wonderful wine selection. The staff is knowledgeable and is always ready to help select the perfect vintage. And they have free delivery!

Great selection of value and premium wines---knowledgeable staff---helpful and friendly atmosphere. Part of the Back Bay face for many years. They deliver too!

Bauer's selection is excellent and they regularly bring in new items. They are also one of the best on beer.
