In 2003, Barbara opened B&G Oysters, LTD., providing the city with a classic yet stylish oyster bar. At the center of the dining room of this subterranean restaurant is an open kitchen surrounded by a white marble bar and black bar stools. Cool blue and grey tiles accented by stainless steel lend a calming oceanic aura to the space while the funky music playing keeps the mood fun and social. The menu offers exquisitely fresh seafood including a daily selection of 12 oyster varieties, ready to be shucked, and fun New England-inspired dishes such as a lobster BLT.

I had great service with even better food. Very fresh and fairly priced. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting, looking for a great place to eat in Boston

I love the clean, cool look of the restaurant. The food is wonderful. I love trying a variety of oysters. I also crave the lobster roll.
The seafood is fresher than anywhere in the city-the kitchen is great and the service is attentive and friendly
How can you not vote for B & G for best seafood. The seafood and atmosphere is great! The staff is very helpful without being stuffy.
