Scott is an incredible trainer. My son (16 years old) went from squatting less than 200lbs to squatting 500lbs working with Scott.

Best in Hotlanta? Hah, more like best in the world!
Scott is so passionate about his work and is always on the lookout for more knowledge. He brings a down-home comfort to the training experience.
It used to bother me when he would show up to the training sessions in the tight, flaming lycra shorts and oiled up , but then I just realized that is the master trainer expressing himself in his art! What a beautiful thing! Also, he gave me good advice about tanning my underarms when I first started out in the fitness DVD market.
Thanks Atlanta Iron Sports and Scott!

Scott is tops! The gym lends itself to hardwork. Commercialism runs rampant in the fitness industry. Atlanta Iron is the way back to the future. I always leave feeling beat down and built up. Love you Scott. Forgive my inconsistency. :-)

As a firefighter for Dekalb County, I need to stay in pretty good physical condition. My life and the others' around me depend on it. I may not need a faster 40 or a higher vertical, but I do need strength when there is nothing left to give. This is where Atlanta Iron comes in. Sure it's tough, but what in life worth obtaining isn't? I know my family appreciates the changes I have made and yours will too.

Why is this the best gym in Atlanta? It's simple: This is where Rocky would come to work out and train. If you have ever wanted to realize your maximum potential in the gym, and be safe while doing it, this is the place for you.
Ivan Drago can keep his fancy machines and big sports clubs. I no longer need them!!!

Scott is really great at what he does. He brings enthusiasm and passion to his job so that you get pumped about working out! I've been going to him for 3 years and I've been able to achieve results that I couldn't have otherwise. He knows what he is doing and how to design a workout based on what you want and what will work best for you.

This gym is NOT for everyone... it's as far from mainstream America as you can get... like a Harley Davidson in front of an elementary school bike rack. AISBC is for serious athletes and powerlifters, and if you fall into that category and live near Duluth you'll never want to leave.

Scott's strongest point is his holistic philosophy toward training. It is a totalitarian approach which integrates your complete lifestyle into your training program. The focus is not just the gym but all aspects of your life. Eating, rest, work ethic, relaxation, mental attitude & focus, intensity and individualized growth are a few examples of the bigger picture which his training approach develops. His gym is one of the few which develops the bigger picture not just your muscles.

Atlanta Iron Sports is a throwback to the days of old. The days when gymgoers worked out hard and the motivation for results and personal well-being trumped the current trends of gyms now operating as 'social factories'.

The owner, a Midwestern transplant, is as down-to-earth and open as they come. Money isn't the driving force, hence you won't see any crazy initiation fees. His main goal is helping YOU achieve your goals! And for that reason this gym boasts an attitude geared towards serious people striving to achieve results, regardless of their sport or skill level, while offering a gym rivaling its counterparts, 'the traditional', which have become more social havens, meat markets, etc, etc...
