Show details What's your take?artSPACE@16 is the product of a creative and undaunted response to the displacement from one artists' community (Fort Point) to be a part of establishing an artists' community in Malden. artSPACE@16 is not just a gallery, but a community activist entity. artSPACE@16 has been playing a leadership role in art collaboratives and initiatives within the community since it's inception in 2000. It has pushed to strengthen the art community in Malden by inspiring and collaborating with the City to create studio and gallery space. The goal of artSPACE@16 is not only to provide a space for innovative contemporary art, but to also make Malden a city where artists can come together to part taking in constructing a creative community.
