In early 1995, Anthony re-opened his grandfather's original store at 903 South Ninth Street (originally a produce store) as Anthony's Italian Coffee House: a result of one hundred years of family quality, service and commitment to the Italian Market and the beautiful village that surrounds it. Today, Anastasio Coffee, a creation born from a family's commitment to excellence and uniqueness, is a symbol of the Philadelphia's Italian Market, paying homage to the past, celebrating its glorious present and taking the market into a promising future. Anthony's Italian Coffee House and Anastasio Coffee are the first steps in a new journey that has taken the Anastasio Family into their second century on their beloved Italian Market.

They best gelato in the city by far and the coffee is amazing as well. Great place to kick back, sit outside on the deck, and have lunch. Try the original panini.
A must visit!!!!
My friends and I love it there. It is the first place we hit in the Italian Market when we visit there. The cozy atmosphere, cheerful employees, great brews and fine pastries are a great start to our day. Thank you, Anthony's! By the way, the gift baskets are excellent, too.

Quaint and full of old country flair, this little coffee house boasts a delightful array of imported and homemade treats. Add to this comfort, conversation and the historic Italian Market atmosphere, and you must be at Anthony's, sipping a great cappuccino, eating a delicious pastry.
Thiscoffee is a standing Christmas gift for my Brother-in-law. He can't wait to get to the box that contains it so he can make a pot for the rest of gift opening time.

The coffee they serve is the best I have ever tasted. It's not bitter at all and has a lovely silky taste. Every other cup of coffee in the city should be embarrassed to be compared to Anthony's.

It's all about the coffee ice cubes in the iced coffee that way your drink doesn't get watered down as the ice melts. Why didn't I think of it first?
