I have volunteered with the Hands on Museum many times in the past and I love how the museum motivates younger children to become involved with the sciences.
Volunteering at this museum has been a wonderful experience, and one that I will cherish for a lifetime!
Great place for kids of all ages and even adults. Great for birthday parties, great for learning and having fun at the same time. Great historical place - old fire house with memorabilia
My family enjoys the clean, family-friendly, thought-provoking, always something new atmosphere the museum provides
The greatest kids museum ever. My seven year old granddaughter can spend hours there every week.
The Ann Arbor Hands On Science Museum has been a great source of science and learning for the communities' youngsters. And it is so much fun!
Great for the kids, and Ann Arbor is also a nice place to visit for dinner when you go the museum.
There are things to do for the whole family, special events, and hands-on is the best way to learn!
My kids and I both love going to the Hands On Museum. We always discover and learn something new - and have fun in the process!
The Ann Arbor hands on science museum has many creative activities and are very family friendly.
The Hands on Museum has the greatest selection of 'hands on' activities for my grandchildren.
The hand-on Museum of Ann Arbor is not only good for kids, but for the whole family to visit, learn and relax.
Brings in field trips from Ann Arbor and way beyond--SE Michigan and Northern Ohio. Visiting children and grandchildren love it and demand visits from hosts each time they come to Ann Arbor.
The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum has activities for all ages of kids, from 1 to 101. There's always more to do than we can fit in on one day. Their family membership program is very reasonably priced, too, so we can go back over and over and over. Our kids love playing and learning there.
Well designed hands-on equipments with simple yet complete scientific explanations.
Compact building instructions so parents can keep an eye on the kids easily.
The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum makes learning fun for kids of all ages. We brought our daughters there before they knew how to walk and they were fully engaged by the infant/toddler space. The water play area was their favorite for a while. Now they have many favorite activities, but there is always something new to do. The Hands On Museum is a indispensable resource for our community.
An icon in downtown Ann Arbor attracting over 200,000 visitors each year. Kids having fun with science.
My child asks to go back often, we have a membership. Great for people of all ages, but especially the kids.
The kids can spend hours there and you never have to say "don't touch that!" They learn so much and always ask questions the whole way home.
Easily accessible, thought provoking exhibits. They change exhibits to keep interest going.
The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum makes science accessible, relevant, and—most importantly for my two-year-old daughter—fun. The exhibits and staff are engaging, smart, and entertaining, and we often show up more than once a week.
Why are they the best? Are you kidding? It's a kid's paradise, and for those of us in Ann Arbor, it's right in our back yard! My daughter loves it (though she's small enough that she still calls it the "Hands On Zoozeum"). She says "It's a learning museum 'cause you can touch stuff. They want you to touch because it makes you learn." She always loves to go there. And it's affordable - $70 a full year for a family, including grandparents. What more could you ask for?!?
Children AND adults can appreciate the interactivity, variety and high exploration value of this museum.
My kids love to go there because they can touch everything. We also love the "members nights" where they have special science projects provided in a fun and exciting way for kids.
Because you switch things up and the membership nights are a blast the kids love em.
Excellent staff and exhibits. Always a smiling face. It is obvious that they really want the children to get excited about science. We need more 'geeks' to get kids into learning!
The HandsOn Museum is appealing to many age groups, including adults. My two granddaughters (now ages 7 and 4 years) have been coming to the Hands-On since they were babies, and my fourth and fifth graders are excited whenever we book a field trip to your museum. Thank you for all you do to insure an interest in science at an early age.
