Yoshokai Aikido has been developed by Kushida-sensei through years of hard training and teaching experience and through his continuous study and deep knowledge of the principles of and philosophy of Budo. Yoshokai Aikido became solidified with Kushida-sensei's teachings of the underlying principles behind Aikido, and the importance of the relationship between Shite and Uke to study harmony.

I love Aikido Yoshokai ! They accept students of all levels, and the emphasis is on safety. I've always enjoyed my classes, the instructors and the other students I trained with. Some days I walk into class with low energy, but always walk out with more energy and smile on my face. It's something I look forward to, and with dojo's all over the metro-Detriot area, everyone should take the opportunity to attend a class.

Great organization with dedicated instructors. My son has been with the Ann Arbor dojo for 3 years. Yoshokai teaches mediation, defense, structure and morals. It is the only martial art I would recommend for children.
