Once the bride has found her perfect dress, she wants to decide on the theme of the wedding; colors and bridesmaids. We know that choosing a dress that all of your favorite girls are going to love is a very difficult decision.

It's the personal "touch" that does it for me. Matt really gets in there and grabs on. He's gentle, experienced, thoughtful, and so much more. He leaves you VERY satisfied. His motto: "Everyone under the blanket!" I think it's a team building thing.

When my daughter was getting married. I went to A Formal Affair. They were so very nice, polite, and very helpful. Showed me a great choice of dresses. They helped me try them on. They did not push me into buying anything. They helped me decide which dress I liked. They even on short notice helped me get my dress shortened. The other places I went to were not very nice to me. My dress was ready on time. We were flying out to CA for the wedding. I would go back to them. They were so great and helpful. It was a great experience for me. I enjoyed buying my dress from them. They are the best.

The owners & staff are warm and friendly and make you feel right at home, and ready to help with any need whatsoever. The decor and atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and selection of bridal and formalwear is fantastic.

The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help no matter how short your deadline is to find something to wear. Great working with them and I will return and recommend to all my friends.

Debbie and Matt Richards are one of the most compassionate couples I know. The started this business from a person who was just ready to give the shop up and have worked tremendously hard getting it looking fantastic but also still keeping the old style look to there store. They were very brave going from a steady 9-5 + hour job to starting there own business. She definitely has more then my vote, she has my recommendation to all my friends to go and try out A Formal Affair.

This is a wonderful, helpful, caring environment, a place you feel comfortable in, and that you wish you had had a long, long time ago, in little old Warrenton. How many times did I take my daughters to Manassas Mall, Fair Oaks, or Tysons, hoping to find the perfect dress for their homecoming dance, valentine dance, etc. Now, we finally have such a place, after they have already moved on, through high school, college, and weddings. Although I didn't have such a place when I needed it, I am so happy that the residents in Warrenton do have such a place now, and no need to travel miles, and miles, and maybe still not find what you need. Formal Affair has such a great selection of everything, there is no need to travel and put up with all that traffic and stress. thank you Debbie and Matt, for coming to Warrenton.

It's really a cool place to buy formal wear! They put a lot of work into the decor. I don't think there is another place like it in this area. This is a place not to be missed. The service is curtious and friendly. Debbie, the owner, puts her entire self into her business and it shows. Their selection is great and the prices are within everyones reach. A wide variety or evening wear. Great designs also. We will never shop anyplace else again for our evening wear needs.

This is simple, after going to so many places and acutally being so tired, Debbie greets you with a warm smile and shares with you that your trip is over. We were introduced to new fashions we had not seen yet and never felt pressure. You really feel as if you were their only customer. I am just so happy to have found Debbie and Matt.
